Written for Yarn/Wire, this piece is an experiment in modular form and collective decision-making. Each performer signals with specific musical material when they are ready to move on and to which modular page, usually with two or three possible options. Each page is connected to a specific environment of electroacoustic effects, which they must navigate together while retaining clarity of communication. The work explores the virtuosity of the ensemble as a collective as well as the virtuosity of the specific performers.
